Works on regional history in the Charente and Angoulême regions, including:
1/ - Bonnard, Camille. - Panorama of the West: Historical Memoirs, Monuments, Scenes of Daily Life, and Ancient and Modern Costumes of Saintonge, Aunis, and Poitou. Niort, Robin & Co., 1844. In-4, bound in red half-maroquin with a smooth spine and gilt lettering—[2 ff., frontispiece, title page], 132 pp., including the table of contents. Illustrated with 23 lithographic plates drawn by Bonnard and printed by Robin & Co. in Niort. One plate is missing: “View of Niort.” Copy in fine condition.
2/ - Michon, J.-H. - Statistical Survey of the Monuments of Charente. Paris, Derache, 1844. Large 4to, loose-leaf - 334 pp., [2 pp. tables]. Complete set of 35 hand-colored plates, some unfolded (counting as 40). Includes 2 delivery covers (damaged), the subscription form, and a sample text from the forthcoming work. Scattered foxing.
3/ - Dubourg-Noves, Pierre. - Iconography of Angoulême Cathedral from 1575 to 1880. Charente Archaeological and Historical Society, 1973. 2 folio volumes, paperback with soft covers - Volume I, text, in French: XIV, 79 pp. - in English: XIII, 79 pp.; Volume II, 82 plates counting as 90 (some containing multiple figures), some of which are in color.
