Illustrated with 17 color plates printed in offset, mounted on sheets that are part of the pagination, and 50 large ornate initials, printed in green. The 50 poems are themed around birds whose scientific or imaginary names are listed at the beginning of the book.Printed in an edition of 214 copies; this is one of 200 printed on “Hich Bridge” laid paper (unnumbered).
