Small square in-4 (16.2 x 16.3 cm), with covers adorned with a narrow strip of black morocco leather enclosing woodgrain paper onto which a spider-web motif of cut-out and painted paper is mounted, plain spine with gilt lettering (author, title, illustrator), navy blue cloth dust jacket featuring the same lettering, shaped and edged slipcase, covers and spine preserved (bound by Claude Delpierre and Kirsten Vinding) - [10 ff.] containing 10 illustrations by Bertini, including 4 full-color double-page spreads, 1 single-page color illustration, and 5 full-page decorative elements in bistre. A print run of 44 copies on heavy vellum; this is one of the 40 (No. 9). This copy is enhanced with a double-page composition in ink, ink wash, watercolor, and gouache, signed.
