Printed in an edition of 448 copies; this one is one of 52 on antique laid paper with a sepia-toned print series (no. 38). A beautiful first edition signed by the author (E.A.S.) to Nicolas Bataille (actor and director) regarding a collaboration, at a time when Bataille was directing the Théâtre du Tertre, which he had founded in 1950 and which would become one of Paris’s leading experimental theaters, where Eugène Ionesco, his close friend, made his debut. 2/ - Courteline, Georges - Dubout. - The 8:47 Train.
