A collection of drawings, caricatures, and bookplates.
1/ - Cham: 6 wash drawings depicting scenes from military life.
2/ - 11 engraved bookplates.
3/ - Bellaigue, J.-C.: 2 drawings, including 1 in color.
4/ - A sketchbook containing 64 caricatures generally related to Parisian high society in the 1950s and 1960s (artist unknown).
5/ - “Pourvu qu’elles tiennent.” A series of 8 engraved plates, captioned and dated March 5, 1917. The title may be modeled after Forain’s “Pourvu qu’ils tiennent.” The work is dedicated to Lise Hirtz. Lise Deharme (née Hirtz, 1898–1980), a novelist and poet associated with the Surrealist movement and a muse of André Breton (Lise Meyer in *Nadja*).
