A set of two works by Tristan Tzara in their first editions. - 40 Chansons et déchansons. Montpellier, Fata Morgana, 1972. In-8, loose-leaf format with a flapped cover printed in two colors—[18 ff., 2 blank leaves, title page, text, 1 blank leaf, colophon, 1 blank leaf], illustrated with 4 color lithographs by Jacques Hérold, each accompanied by a red translucent acetate sheet that alters the perception of colors. Printed in an edition of 575 copies; this is one of the 75 limited-edition copies on Arches paper with color plates (no. 28). First edition, additionally including rejected title proofs and acetate samples. - *Le Coeur à gaz*. - Paris, G.L.M., 1946. In-4, paperback with printed cover - 39 pp., [1 f. justification]. Printed in a run of 405 numbered copies; one of 3,355 on Marais vellum (no. 229). Includes two title designs: one on tracing paper for an illustration by Sonia Delaunay, the other on graph paper.
