A set of 3 works by Lévis-Mano, Guy. 1/ -Thirteen Minutes. Paris, Henry Parville, 1927. Quarto in loose leaves, in a marbled violet cover with title label—slight foxing on the back cover with damage to the endpaper—[2 ff.], 13 pp., [3 pp., including 2 bl.]. Illustrated with a portrait of the author on the frontispiece and a line drawing by F. Nicole. Printed in an edition of 218 copies; this one is one of the 150 printed on alfa paper from Papeteries Sorel-Moussel (no. 85). 2/ - Fait divers. Paris, Éditions “Minutes,” Librairie La Plume d’Or, 1932. Quarto in loose sheets with a cover featuring large flaps made of reinforced craft paper, painted black on the outside. Title label illustrated with a collage—minor tears at the top and bottom edges—[14 ff.]. Illustrated with 6 full-page drawings by Raymond Gid. Printed in an edition of 250 copies; this is one of 234 printed on Alfax Navarre paper (no. 203). 3/ - Three Printers Had Had Enough. Paris, GLM, 1935. Work produced in collaboration with Georges Duchêne and Roger Bonon in 1934 (imprimatur 1935). Small 8vo, paperback with a typographic cover with a filled-in design—[16 ff., including 1 blank page]. Illustrated with a drawing by Raymond Gid. Printed in a run of 145 copies; this is one of 125 printed by heliogravure (No. 22), following 20 special editions on Normandy vellum. A delightful experiment in mixing typefaces to serve poetry and please the eye. 4/ - Minutes. Second issue. Paris, G.L.M., Feb. 1931. In-4, loose-leaf, with a printed cover - [10 ff.]. Illustrated with 3 drawings by Klein, 1 by Jean Janin, and 2 black-and-white reproductions of paintings—one by Jean Janin, the other by Adriaan Lubbers. Includes texts by Countee Cullen, G. Lévis-Mano, Pierre Brasseur, Juan Loguaiyu, and African American plantation songs translated and paraphrased by Jules Casadesus. Printed in a run of 187 numbered copies; this one is one of 175 printed on offset paper (no. 69).
