[Bourbon] - A mock collection of folio-sized plates depicting the alliance coats of arms of the various branches of the House of Bourbon - 133 gouache-painted plates (mid-19th century), including 28 plates of single coats of arms and 105 plates of double coats of arms. Also included are 15 uncolored pencil drawings (1 single coat of arms and 14 double coats of arms). Important illustrations of the Bourbon alliances. Also included are 18 engraved plates of the coats of arms from the Hall of the Crusades (12 in chromolithography, 6 in black). Size 56.3 x 39 cm; with foxing and water stains. The entire collection is contained in a 17th-century folio binding serving as a folder (heavily damaged).
