A work of great utility to all clergy, especially those entrusted with the duties of the holy ministry. Langres, published by Laurent-Bournot, [1817]. In-4, bound in full period calfskin with a smooth spine and a red title label—a small tear in the title label—906 pp., XXVI pp. (table of contents). Copy printed on bluish paper (except for the last page of the table of contents, which is on white paper and comes from another copy). A new edition of the famous “Instructions on the Langres Ritual,” first published in 1786 in Besançon. La Luzerne presided over the Constituent Assembly from late August 1789 to early October. As Bishop of Langres and a member of the Estates-General, La Luzerne fought against all attacks on the monarchy and religion.
