Porcelain dolls, marionettes, tin soldiers, and wooden animals take the stage to reenact episodes from French history, featuring Charlemagne, Saint Genevieve, Frédégonde and Brunehaut, Joan of Arc, Henry IV, Richelieu, Louis XIV, and others. A fine copy.
