[Enfantina]. A collection of three books on Alsace.
1/ - Hansi. - The History of Alsace Told to the Little Children of Alsace and France by Uncle Hansi. With many lovely illustrations by Hansi and Huen. Paris, H. Floury, 1913. Large quarto, publisher’s blue percaline binding, covers decorated with a large polychrome design, illustrated endpapers, red edges, small pinholes on the endpapers and half-title page - [3 ff;], 99 pp., [1 p.], color illustrations by Hansi and Huen, including 14 full-page and one double-page illustration.
2/ Kauffmann, P. — Our Little Alsatians at Home. An Artist’s Notes and Memories. Preface by Henri Welschinger. Paris, Librairie Garnier Frères, n.d. [1918], publisher’s beige percaline with a scattered pattern of small flowers and a large decorative design on the front cover, red edges—[40 ff.], 29 monochrome vignettes, 11 monochrome full-page illustrations, and 8 full-page color illustrations. Paul Kauffmann (1849–1940), born in Belfort, was raised in Colmar. Even after settling in Paris, he remained loyal to his adopted region and became known for his regionalist works.
3/- Blanchard-Probst, Pierre. - *Bibiche in Alsace*. Lyon, Éditions J. Barbe, 1944. Large quarto, publisher’s illustrated cloth binding, illustrated endpapers—corners worn, spine unmarked but rubbed, minor defects at the hinges—[14 ff.], original watercolors by Pierre Probst on every page, including 1 spread and 2 full-page illustrations.
