This marble was molded into bronze. The sculptor had created a first Offrande a few years earlier (see Offrande I, cat. no. 30). The bronze proof presented here featured in the 2009 exhibition L'Atelier du sculpteur René Letourneur at the Musée d'Île-de-France in Sceaux.
