René LETOURNEUR (1898-1990) Albi cemetery 1939 Pencil Monogrammed (lower right) : RL 26 x 18 cm Before his mobilization, René Letourneur stayed in Albi to work on a monument to Jean Jaurès. For this commission, intended for the city's Salle des États and led by architect André Laborie, the sculptor created two reliefs and a bust of Jean Jaurès.
