Reunion of three engraved works. 1/ - Moschetti, Alessandro. - Nuova raccolta delle principali vedute antiche e moderne dell'alma citta di Roma e sue vicinanze. Roma, Salvatore Antonelli, 1854. 1 oblong vol. in bluish paper covers - Slight folds at corners, scattered foxing on plates, spotted frontispiece - 50 plates, 49 engraved by Moschetti and one by Parboni. 2/ - Caron, Antoine et Isaac, Jaspar, Suite de gravures pour les Tableaux de platte peinture de Philostrate dans la traduction de Blaise de Vigenère, s.d. [first half of the 17th century] - Engravings often cut flush with the vat line, stains and small tears. Only 49 of the 65 engravings illustrate the work - Preserved in plastic sleeves. A major achievement of the illustrated book in France in the early years of the 17th century, the work went through a dozen editions between 1602 and 1637, proof of its success. 3/ - Le Barbier, Suite de gravures pour les Oeuvres de Salomon Gessner en trois tomes. Paris, Le Barbier, veuve Hérissant, Barrois, 1786-1793. 76 plates in folio leaves, never bound or trimmed - edges of leaves faded, some foxing, small marginal tears - Engraved by Ponce, engraver to the Comte d'Artois, Godefroy, de l'académie impériale et royale de Vienne, Ch. E. Gaucher, J.L Delignon, Louis Michel Halbou, Pauquet, Ph. Trière, de Longueil, graveur du roi, Le Beau, G. R. Levillain, these plates illustrate, among others, La Mort d'Abel, les Idylles.
