H. 33.5 x W. 36 x D. 18.2 cm After training at the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome, Alfredo Biagini moved to Paris, where he developed a passion for animal sculpture, frequenting the menagerie at the Jardin des Plantes. His style, close to the secessionist movement, emphasizes anatomy in a synthetic manner.
