André Bizette-Lindet (1906-1998) Fragment of a woman's head Terracotta H. 10 cm, resting on a plexiglass base H. 4 cm Provenance: Sale of the André Bizette-Lindet workshop, Artcurial, January 15, 2010, lot 152 A student of Antoine Injalbert, André Bizette-Lindet was awarded the Grand Prix de Rome in 1929. Appointed painter to the French Navy in 1949, he was responsible for the bronze doors of the Musée d'Art Moderne de la Ville de Paris and the decoration of Sainte-Anne d'Auray.
