H. 27 cm, on a natural wood base H. 16.5 cm Related work : -Albert Bouquillon, L'Ethiopienne, porphyry, H. 29 x W. 26 x D. 26 cm, Douai, Musée de la Chartreuse, inv. 2324D A student of Injalbert and Bouchard, Bouquillon won the Prix de Rome in 1934. He exhibited at the Salon d'Automne from 1952. This is a studio plaster of a preparatory study for the porphyry bust executed in Rome in 1935.
