Miot-Frochot. Paris, Bachelin-Deflorenne, 1869. In-8, bound in contemporary half-plum basane, smooth spine decorated with fine gilt roulettes, last page browned - [3 ff.], 52 pp. 35 woodcuts in text. Edition of 100 copies. Extract from the Bulletin du Bibliophile. Martial de Paris (1440-1508,) like many of his colleagues, cultivated letters. According to the abbot Gouget he was the man of his time who wrote best and with the most spirit. Many of his works were published as early as the 16th century, this one had escaped his admirers. Rare.
