H. 34 cm Born in an artistic environment and a student at the École des Beaux-arts in Dijon from 1919, Hubert Yencesse met François Pompon (1855-1933) and became his student. He was awarded the Blumenthal Prize in 1934 and then moved to Paris where he began a collaboration with Aristide Maillol until 1936.
