Vadim ANDROUSOV (1895-1975) Reclining Couple About 1951 Terracotta. Signed and dated androusov 51, bears the number 3/7 Inside, bears the inscription Earth Momepo / FUME / SILEY. H.15 cm Terrace W. 37 D. 15 cm Vadim Androusov is a sculptor from St. Petersburg. On his arrival in Paris in 1920, he continued his training with Bourdelle at La Grande Chaumière and exhibited his sculptures at the Salon des Tuileries, the Salon d'Automne and the Indépendants. This reclining couple was also the subject of a bronze print by the founder Busato, limited to seven copies.
