Radiguet, Raymond. - Autograph poem pasted on the title page of the novel "Les joues en feu" - (leaf with several folds, with frayed and creased edges, small paper loss in the upper margin, size 156 x 200 mm). "So that angels in slippers / Visiting the living who suffer,/ Cap them like the candle / With a snuffer. Do you lack, / Hair of my elegy, / On the souls themselves blow, / But the angels are tenors / Moving to sing high / Their courage, as soon as we die. Cheeks on fire. Old and unpublished poems 1917-1921. Paris, Grasset, 1925. In-8 paperback, cover stained and torn on the back, spine unstained. Printed on 8/07/1925 with indication of 8th edition. Complete with the portrait of the author by Picasso on the frontispiece of the poem by Max Jacob and the foreword by the author.
