In-18, bound in contemporary red half-maroon with corners, spine gilt, title gilt - 314 pp. including the fx-title and the title - Rare and virulent anticlericalist pamphlet published anonymously, written by Auguste Roussel, de Méry (1817-1880), poet and fabulist fiercely republican Second edition. (the first in 1864). One of 50 on Hollande (n° 6). 2/ - Musset, Alfred. - Histoire d'un merle blanc... oraison funèbre d'un ver à soie... à quoi tient le coeur d'un lézard. Paris, Collection Hetzel, Blanchard, 1853. Small in-8 bound in full burgundy morocco, with the boards spelled out with a monogram topped by a count's crown, repeated in the tail of the spine, gilt title, interior scroll - spotting on the whole text.First edition. 3/ - Erckmann-Chatrian. - The Friend Fritz. Comedy. Paris, J. Hetzel et Cie, [c. 1877].in-8, bradel cardboard, title page, covers preserved - [3 ff.], 231 pp. (txte), 24 pp.(music notated by H. Maéchal), frontispiece-portrait of the authors (foxing). Copy with E.A.S. from the authors "to our good colleague Frédérick" and 9 large photos by Nadar (16,3 x 10,2 cm) bound at the end of the volume, representing the actors of the play. 4/ - Paul (abbé). - Fables of Phaedra. In-12 bound in full red morocco with smooth spine, the boards decorated with a gilt plate alternating floral elements and fleurs de lys, spine decorated with a semis of fleurs de lys, title and author's pieces, inner scroll - [2 ff.], 267 pp., [5 pp.], [blank f.], 59 pp. of catalogue (15/08/1810) of the bookseller Delalain in Paris. 5/ - Ruskin. - The rest of Saint Mark's. Paris, Hachette, 1908. In-8 in full vellum with smooth spine, with double gilt framed boards, decorated with 6 pigeons on the boards and the spine and an owl on the tail of the spine, author, title and head gilt.
