In-8, publisher’s binding in red half-shagreen, with 5 panels, 4 of which are decorated with a scattered pattern of floral motifs, gilt edges, white moiré endpapers - 370 pp., 1 frontispiece, and 23 out-of-text plates by Riou and Montaut. At the end, 1 folio of the Hetzel catalog and a descriptive catalog of 32 pp., 27 of which are illustrated. A small marginal tear in the paper (p. 2), without affecting the text.
