With a few sad pictures and many cheerful ones. Paris, Floury, 1919. Large quarto, publisher’s pale blue percaline cloth with a large polychrome design on each cover, illustrated endpapers, red edges—60 pp., [2 ff.], color illustrations by Hansi, including 11 full-page illustrations and 1 double-page spread (the return of French troops to Colmar on November 18, 1918). 2/ - My Village. Those Who Do Not Forget. Images and commentary by Uncle Hansi. Paris, Floury, n.d. [1913]. Italian-style In-4, publisher’s blue percaline, polychrome decoration on the covers, red edges—corners slightly rubbed, minor wear at the top of the covers, faint foxing on the endpapers and half-title page— [2 ff.], 31 pp., [1 p.], [2 ff.], color illustrations by Hansi, including 15 full-page illustrations. 3/ - The Tricolor Paradise. Paris, Floury, 1918. Large 8vo, publisher’s decorated cloth binding, title pasted onto the front cover, red edges, illustrated endpapers, slight foxing on the cloth—37 pp., [1 p.], [1 f.], vignettes in the text and 8 full-page illustrations by Hansi. This volume celebrated the “small towns and villages of Alsace, now liberated.” Included: a small map illustrated by Pierre Vincent proclaiming “Alsace is French.”
