Workshop of the famous Master Weaver Djaffer. High-quality silky wool velvet on cotton foundation. Insolations. Carpet with garden motif, inlaid with richly flowering trees of life, cypresses, prayer mirhabs surrounded by columns and hanging oil lamps, lacy foliage in pastel shades of brown, ochre, beige, pale sky blue and orange. Eight borders, the main tobacco one with interlacing stems and twisted crenellated branches inlaid with floral bulbs in the shape of geometrically stylized turtle shells.
