NEVERS, late 18th century REVOLUTIONARY ASSEMBLY with contoured edges with polychrome decoration in the centre in a yellow medallion of two swords, two flags and a pike surmounted by a Phrygian cap and above the inscription the cap of freedom. On the wing flowered branches and yellow net. Repaired. Attached is a revolutionary plate decorated in the centre with an oval medallion inscribed with the flag of liberty, on the right a child sitting on a tree trunk and on the left a cannon and a flag on a pike. Bears a label from the PM Sestié collection and the Gossec March 1989 conservatory exhibition on the reverse. Splinter on the edge and repaired.
