Large 8vo, paperback with printed filled cover, uncut and untrimmed—[3 leaves, title page and colophon on the reverse, title page, dedicatory page], 218 pp. (the last 8 unnumbered), [1 leaf complete]. Illustrated with 60 original color compositions (17 full-page illustrations, including the frontispiece, and 43 inset illustrations) and 12 end-piece illustrations (woodcuts printed in black) by Foujita. The color illustrations are printed on cut and mounted paper. Printed in an edition of 545 copies; this one is one of the 400 numbered copies on Arches paper (No. 223).
