In-8, bound in black half-maroquin with bands, with a cardboard cover decorated with red bands on a black background, plain, unmarked spine, gilt head, covers and spine preserved and mounted on tabs, untrimmed copy with orange cover, uncut, untrimmed - 245 pp., [1 f., printed], 1 pl. h-t "Minuit" after a drawing by Apollinaire. Printed in a run of 1,630 copies; this is one of 100 on Arches laid paper (no. 130). First edition, with a preface by Ramón Gómez de La Serna translated by Jean Cassou, collecting 41 previously unpublished poems written between 1895 and 1918, followed by essays on painters (Le Douanier Rousseau, Matisse, Picasso, Van Dongen, etc.) and writers (Jean Royère, Paul Fort, Alfred Jarry). In fine condition.
