Paris, Guillaume Le Noir, 1551. 2 in-8 volumes, bound together in a single 19th-century half-basane volume, ribbed spine, title label—cardboard covers scuffed at the edges and corners, small marginal tear on the title page and the two following leaves, without damage to the text, 31ff. Cousin on the last leaf (The Elder, the Younger, or...?) with the following comment: “Johan Cousin may possess me, govern me, and do with me as he pleases—J. Cousin.” Rare commentaries by Vincent de La Loupe, dedicated to Jacob Broll, Archbishop of Arles, on magistrates and governors, constituting the first precise description of the duties of the various officials of the kingdom—(Brunet III, 779). Bound at the end with: [Scévole de Sainte-Marthe]—Gallorumn Doctrina illustrium, qui nostra patriumque memoria floruerunt, Elogia. Augustoriti Pictonum, Ex officina Jo.
