Set of 13 alphabet card decks, including 6 contemporary ones, 4 from the 1950s, and 3 from earlier periods, including:
- Card Houses [c. 1880]. A deck of 52 cards illustrated on the front with animals in color and on the back with letters of the alphabet in black, along with the caption from the front. This deck can be used to build card castles thanks to notches that allow the cards to interlock. Original cardboard box is worn.
- The Premium Game Logomachy or War of Words. New York, Mc Loughlin Brothers, [c. 1890]. A deck of 72 color-illustrated cards, each assigned a letter. The original cardboard box is worn, and includes the game instructions (very worn).
Semaphore Signaling Cards. The Easiest Method for Self-Instruction. Ottawa, The Canadian General Council of the Boy Scouts Association, Ottawa. Set of 30 cards, including 28 semaphore cards and 2 instruction cards. The front shows the flag positions; the back shows the letter and its corresponding code (A for Alfa, B for Bravo...). Original case with wear. Overall condition: 8/10 - Rarity: 4/5
