Large quarto, publisher’s red percaline binding, large polychrome decoration on the front cover, red edges—corners rubbed, small portion missing from the front cover illustration, wear on the hinges— [1 f.], 160 pp., [4 ff.], vignettes in the text by Benjamin Rabier, alternating between monochrome and color. 2/ - Isly, Fred. - Bob and Rémy on Vacation. Paris, Félix Juven, n.d. [1901]. Large 8vo, publisher’s percaline, black decoration on the front cover (flowers and cats), gilt edges—wear on the headbands and corners, tears, one loose leaf—inscribed— [2 ff.], 96 pp., 9 full-page illustrations (7 in color, 2 in black), vignettes in the text in black and in color. 3/ - Pierre and Lisette. Paris, Jules Tallandier, n.d. [1906]. Large quarto, publisher’s illustrated cardboard binding, red cloth spine—corners rubbed, slight wear at the hinges—[2 ff.], 64 pp., 6 full-page color illustrations, small black-and-white and color vignettes in the text. 4/ - The Little Misfortunes of Animal Life. Paris, Garnier Frères, 1926. Italian-style quarto, publisher’s cardboard binding, gray cloth spine—corners worn, a few stains, child’s drawing on the lower flyleaf— [2 ff.], 40 ff. printed on the recto only, each featuring a large color illustration with a caption below. 5/ - The Tales of the Purple Turtle. Paris, Tallandier, 1934. In-8, illustrated publisher’s board binding, beige cloth spine, red edges—a few minor light stains—48 pp., black-and-white and color vignettes in the text. 6/ - Joséphine.
