Large quarto, publisher’s cardboard binding, green percaline, large illustration on the front cover within a frame of gilded foliage, gilded title on the spine, slight discoloration at the top of the back cover - [2 ff.], IV, 84 pp. mounted on tabs, 36 large color illustrations by Job, including 4 spread across two pages. First edition. A very fine copy.
2/ - La Tour d’Auvergne, First Grenadier of France. Paris, Combet, 1902. Large quarto, publisher’s blue percaline binding, large polychrome illustration on the front cover, title in gold lettering running lengthwise, gilt edges - [2 ff.], IV, 80 pp. mounted on tabs, color illustrations by Job: 2 double-page spreads, 19 full-page illustrations, 18 in-text illustrations, including one double-page spread.
Included: Marthold, J. de—Job. —Le Grand Napoléon des petits enfants. Paris, Plon, Nourrit, n.d. [1893?]. Italian-style 8vo, publisher’s green percaline, illustrated front cover, red edges; copy completely detached at the hinges, which are split, with foxing - [24 ff.], illustrations on every page accompanied by a short caption.
