GERMANY Copper military biretta comprising five military and civilian decorations, with ribbon: - a knight's cross of the Order of the Royal Crown of the Kingdom of Prussia, (founded 1861) in gold (750 ‰) and polychrome enamel, with silver centers on a sandblasted background, L. 4.3 cm ; - a cross of the Order of the Red Eagle of the Kingdom of Prussia (founded in 1712), awarded on a civil basis, in silver (800 ‰) with white and red enamel center, L. 3.8 cm ; - a cross of merit of the Kingdom of Prussia in white metal, L. 3.5 cm ; - a knight's cross of the Order of the Ernestine House of the Kingdoms of Saxony and Saxony-Altenburg (founded in 1690, renewed in 1833) in gold (750 ‰) and polychrome enamel, L. 4.5 cm ; - and a knight's cross of the Order of the Griffin of the Grand Duchy of Mecklenburg (instituted in 1884) in silver (800 ‰) and red enamel on guilloché ground, L. 4 cm.
