Two covered earthenware jars (khabia, kabbiya, or khabbiya) - Lot 305
Two covered earthenware jars (khabia, kabbiya, or khabbiya) painted yellow, blue and green, and accented with touches of red minium. Decorated in registers with floral and geometric motifs, the body adorned with carnations, palmettes and rosettes. Spherical lids with jammour-shaped knobs. One of the lids is attached; some glaze chips; chips on the foot. Morocco, Fez, 19th century H. 36.5 cm Another broken khabia jar with lid.
