Necklace in 14K yellow gold 585‰, composed of fifteen steatite and earthenware scarabs, mounted in a closed setting with a twisted wire border, extended by a jaseron mesh chain with spring ring. Each scarab is engraved on its plate with hieroglyphs, two of which bear the name of Menkheperrê (Thutmosis III), and some are engraved with wish formulas. Egypt, 17th Dynasty to Late Period (c. 1550-332 B.C.) Beetle length 1.2 cm to 2.8 cm L. 40 cm approx.
