A silver ewer and its basin, the ewer standing on a pedestal, the body chased with rocaille, rushes and shells, encircled by threaded moldings, the handle openwork with leaves is surmounted by a mollusk. The hinged lid is chased with rocaille and features a scrolled grip. The oval basin, edged with fillets, is engraved with rocaille motifs and scrolled foliage. Engraved with the Séguin and Brémontier coats of arms under a count's crown. By Bernard Vinsac. Toulouse 1753 for the ewer and 1755 for the basin. Repairs to the basin.
