René Collamarini (1904-1983) Seated bather Bronze with bronze patina Signed "COLLAMARINI Bears the founder's stamp "A. VALSUANI CIRE PERDUE H. 65 cm René Collamarini took evening classes in drawing and modeling before joining Jean Boucher's studio at the École des Beaux-Arts. Parallel to his training, he worked as a practitioner in a workshop where he was introduced to direct carving. Between the wars, Collamarini applied himself to the relief technique. In particular, he created the bas-relief La Céramique et Le Verre for the façade of the Palais du Trocadéro at the 1937 Universal Exhibition.
