Early 20th century French school Portrait of Abbé Calès (1870-1961) Bronze bust with brown patina Bears a signature Bears the founder's stamp "CIRE / C. VALSUANI / PERDUE" and bears the number "4". Dated and located "1916 WILLER / ALSACE" and dedicated "à l'abbé Calès". H. 30 cm A painter and churchman, Abbé Calès lived in the Dauphinois region and painted the landscapes of the Grésivaudan valley through the seasons.
