Le Rouge [geographer]. - Reunion of 8 colored boundary maps, dated 1743, framed in red cloth and mounted under glass - Sight size 19.5 x 25.5 cm (7 maps), 25 x 19 cm (1 map). Includes: Bavaria (broken glass), Marquisate of Moravia (broken glass corner), Electorate of Cologne, Circle of Austria, Upper Austria, Lower Austria, Swabia, Kingdom of Hungary. 5 cards have 1 pocket in 11 x 7.6 cm format, inserted under the glasses (thus hiding part of the cards). These cases, designed to hold the card folded in 8, are decorated with a medallion giving the title of the card, with a decoration of military attributes, all engraved in black (small semicircular notch at the top of the case for gripping the card).
