In-12 bound in full tan calf, boards decorated with triple gilt fillet, smooth ornate spine, title-piece, fillet on the edges, roulette on the covers, gilt edges. Reprint of the second edition given by Coustelier in 1731 (Cf Cohen 652) - First jaw partly split, 2 corners pierced, epidermis and scratches on the boards - [5 ff., title in red and black, avertissemen, preface], 159 pp., XX pp. of notes. Illustrated with a handsome allegorical frontispiece, a title vignette, 4 bands depicting playful lovers, 8 h-t pll. by Scotin, 4 of which signed, and 4 culs-de-lampe.
