Goncourt E. de. - La fille Elisa, Paris, Emile Testard, 1895, in-4 bound in havana half-maroquin with corners, spine ribbed, author and title gilt, gilt head, covers preserved. Illustrated with original compositions and etchings by Georges Jeanniot. Edition of 300 copies, this one of 40 on vellum vellum paper with a triple suite of etchings in black, two with remarks before the letter, the last one lettered, accompanied by an unadvertised suite of all woodcuts on China paper. Bound in fine, the subscription form consisting of seven leaves including a lettered engraving and an unadvertised cover design. Unjustified present copy. No brown spots.
