Signed, inscribed on the inside "Offered by Maison Tardan to Monsieur Dieudonné Costes in Mexico City on January 29, 1928" D. 53 cm * Dieudonné Costes (1892-1973) was a French aviator, famous in particular for the first non-stop South Atlantic crossing in 1927, then for the first non-stop North Atlantic crossing in an east-west direction, with Maurice Bellonte, in 1930.
