Large and original Kazak, South Caucasus, circa 1980/85 Wool velvet on cotton foundation, abrache navy blue field (natural wool change) decorated with geometrically stylized animals, birds, crabs, tarantulas, flower buds and insects in polychrome, adorned with three octagonal medallions of ivory and ruby motifs reminiscent of the central field. Triple border, the main one scrolled with stylized hooks in the form of multicolored rings. Good condition. 249 x 170 cm
