Kindjal, elephant ivory handle adorned with two burnished iron cabochons, gold damascened; diamond-section blade with two cutting edges and a staggered throat, inverted on each side, on one side, a decoration on a blued background in gold damascene forming a cartouche and bearing the inscription Jozef Kobylecki, on the other, the same cartouche with foliage and a kind of inscription (?); black chagrin-covered wooden scabbard with two burnished, cut-out, gold damascened iron fittings, decorated with foliage; the chape carries a bracelet with a ring. The ivory is cracked. Caucasus, Georgia, Tiflis, 2nd half of the 19th century. Very good condition. A CIC will be issued to the purchaser. L. 50,5 cm
