René LETOURNEUR (1898-1990) Torso 1978 White terracotta, n°6/8 Monogrammed (on left thigh): RL 26 x 12 x 10.5 cm René Letourneur created the Torso in direct cut from a small block of marble (it appears in the center of the photo reproduced on p. 72-73) and molded it for publication in terracotta. He later composed another Torso in a similar vein (see cat. no. 163).
