René LETOURNEUR (1898-1990) The Dance Model of 1973 Studio plaster Monogrammed (on the back in the hair) : RL 18 x 46 x 16 cm The female figure in La Danse adopts a posture very similar to that of Au soleil (cat. no. 84), created in 1958, with the exception of the curvature of her torso. Both are constrained within a rectangular geometric frame. The two works could function as "opposite" pendants.
