Titled by the artist on the back. 46 x 37.5 cm Exceptional group of works by Luigi LOIR (1845-1916) Eight panels that adorned the woodwork in the salon of Monsieur Aristide Boucicaut (founder of the "Au Bon Marché" department store). Several of Luigi Loir's works were published for chromolithographic advertising cards offered by Le Bon Marché to its customers. All the figures are in 18th-century costume, although the works date from 1875. Included in the artist's archives by Monsieur Noé Willer.
