Paris, Rault, 1776. 3 vol. in-8, marbled havana calf, ornate ribbed spine, 1 fillet on the edges, marbled edges - Several corners pierced, one headband frayed, jaws tired - [4], LV, [1], 260 ; [4], 301 ; [4], 286, [2] pp. (privilege and approbation) : three frontispieces engraved by Gaucher, Delaunay and Romanet after Cochin. Volume I gives the publication in Greek and French of a dialogue discovered in Athens in 1761, featuring Homer and another interlocutor. The translator of this edition remains unknown.
