Roger CAPRON (1922-2006) Bird with long beak, early 50s Stylized zoomorphic sculpture mounted as a lamp. White earthenware. Black painted highlights on the openwork body marking the wing and on the beak. The bird rests on a leg and four claws for balance, a sort of tripod in black lacquered metal attached to the plaster. Mounted as a lamp. Handwritten signature also painted Capron - Vallauris. Good condition. A few light stains due to salt migration underneath.
