Auguste Nicolas Trémont (1892-1980) Turning Panther Circa 1930 Black painted plaster Signed on the right hind leg 53 x 40 x 130 cm Born in Luxembourg, Auguste Nicolas Trémont studied painting and sculpture in Paris. He contributes to the creation of the Salon des Artistes Animaliers with Marcel Sandoz, and creates the sculptures for the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg Pavilion at the 1937 International Exhibition.
